Section 001, Spring 2020
The primary purpose of this seminar is to introduce students to the fundamental principles of international commercial arbitration and, for those already familiar with basic features of commercial arbitration, to discuss features particular to selected Latin American jurisdictions. The seminar will focus mainly on international commercial arbitration, though it will also cover briefly the most critical components of investment arbitration in Latin America. The seminar relies in part on individual or group oral presentations provided by seminar participants.
