Class of 1968 Reunion Class Notes
Mary Lovett Nitsch ’68
I retired from my trusts & estates law practice in December 2007 and moved with my husband, Gunter, to Chicago, IL.
Gunter is already the author of two books: "Weeds Like Us" (German translation published by the Ellert & Richter Verlag in Hamburg in 2011 as "Eine lange Flucht aus Ostpreußen") and "STRETCH: Coming of Age in Post-War Germany." He's currently working on a third. I keep busy editing what Gunter writes. In addition to writing and editing, we have a busy schedule taking advantage of everything Chicago has to offer.
Our older son, Michael, got his Ph.D. in political science from Harvard in May 2012 and is now enrolled at Yale Divinity School. Our younger son, Frederick, is an aspiring artist here in Chicago.
