For all students who live in University Housing, University Apartment Housing (UAH) allows you to sublet your unit over the summer, or if you are participating in a University sanctioned off-campus study program, and will return to full residency at Columbia for at least one semester prior to graduation.
If you intend to sublet your unit, please view the UAH subletting information and application procedures. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Law School housing liaison or UAH directly.
Please note, during the spring and summer, if you are a law student, in addition to the UAH subletting website, you can post your unit on the Law School Forum for Housing (a CLS-only bulletin board). If you are looking for a sublet, or have an apartment available, please visit the site to list your information. You will also be able to browse what others have posted. The site is very easy to use, and will help law students who need sublets to match up with those who have apartments.
Please remember that in order to sublet any university housing, you must file the UAH sublet application before beginning your sublet. More information, as well as UAH's sublet policies and an application, can be found in the sublet section of the UAH website.
