Tickets will be distributed on the fifth floor of William and June Warren Hall on April 9, 10, and 11 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Each student will receive six tickets for the Law School ceremony. There will be an opportunity to request additional tickets. A link to the ticket lottery will be distributed via email during the week of April 14. Additional tickets will be distributed to those selected during the week of April 30.
Registration is required for all eligible graduates interested in attending University Commencement. If you do not plan on attending the ceremony, you do not need to register. Eligible graduates can request up to three tickets. You will have only one opportunity to register and request tickets through this system. Once you log out, you will not be able to log back in to change your reservation and the amount of requested guest tickets. Registration will close on Friday, April 19. Requested guest tickets will be distributed at the Student Services desk upon the April 19 close of Registration. Exact dates of distribution will be communicated via email to all eligible graduates whom have registered for Commencement. Please bring your email confirmation along with your CUID to pick up your tickets from Student Services.
If lost, the tickets cannot be replaced. It is strictly forbidden to sell or buy tickets. Graduation tickets are given to you solely for the purpose of allowing your friends and relatives to attend. The Law School will consider any solicitation of tickets a violation of school policy and will take appropriate action if any such transactions come to its attention. All unwanted tickets are to be returned to the Dean of Students’ Office.
Please notify Student Services in writing if you are expecting any guests in wheelchairs who will require a special seat, ASL interpretation, closed captioning, or any other form of assistance. You must include the name of the guest(s) as well as the names of any additional guests who will sit with him or her.
Information for guest accommodations and parking can be found on the University Commencement website, in addition to the Graduation Handbook.
Students can request letters from the Dean of Students for their international guests for visa purposes. To do so, email us with your full name and the full names of your guests. We will compile your letters and email you when they are ready for pickup.
