Student Services sponsors a First Year Peer Mentoring Program and co-sponsors the Transfer Student Mentoring Program.
First Year Peer Mentoring Program
The Peer Mentoring Program is one of the best and easiest way to learn your way around Columbia Law School. This year-long program provides first-year students with the opportunity to have fun and learn the inside scoop about classes and faculty from second- and third-year students. Activities include tickets to iconic New York City events such as Top of the Rock, visits to the Intrepid and Mets games. Breakfast, dinners and other events such as karaoke night are often hosted by the Office of Students Services and by individual mentor groups as a way to develop bonds and relationships across class years. Transfer Student Mentoring Program
The Transfer and Visiting Student Organization (TVSO) runs a mentoring program for all Transfer and Visiting students. Contact TVSO to learn more.
