Harlan Fiske Stone
Moot Court 2015
Justin DiGennaro ’15 was awarded the Lawrence S. Greenbaum Prize for best oral presentation in the final round of the Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court Competition on April 16. Elizabeth Cruikshank ’15 was recognized for submitting the best brief.
The oral arguments were the culmination of a demanding elimination competition and challenged students to argue an appellate case before distinguished visiting judges. This year, the court included Judge Robert D. Sack ’63 of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Judge David F. Hamilton, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and Judge Paul J. Watford, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
The Lawrence S. Greenbaum Prize, which is awarded annually, was established in 1951 by family and friends in memory of Lawrence S. Greenbaum 1912.
