Social Justice Initiatives and Columbia Law School are committed to helping students and alumni explore meaningful and fulfilling opportunities in government.
Columbia Law School is proud to be one of only a small number of law schools with a designated career counselor for government service.
Through speakers, panels, workshops, and individual counseling, we help students and graduates explore and obtain opportunities in federal, state, and local government.
The Law School boasts thousands of alumni working at all levels of government. We work to involve our public sector alumni in the work of Social Justice Initiatives through a variety of formal and informal organizations and networks, including groups dedicated to mentoring and advising current students.
