Daniel Stewart is a legal officer at the Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat. He has worked at the Special Court for Sierra Leone, the European Court of Human Rights, the Constitutional Court of South Africa, the Supreme Court of Israel, and the International Court of Justice, and he taught international human rights law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He has also spent time with a number of international human rights organizations. He is a graduate of Harvard and Columbia universities.
