U.S. Business Law Academy
Columbia Law School invites applications to its U.S. Business Law Academy for foreign-trained law students and practitioners. The program is an engaging educational and cultural experience with select topics in U.S. legal institutions and business law taught by preeminent scholars from Columbia’s world renowned faculty.
The academy provides an accessible introduction to the Socratic Method, one of the foundations of U.S. legal education. Senior Columbia Law School administrators advise students about international LL.M. programs and career strategies, offering excellent preparation for those considering further studies in a leading global graduate program. The program also includes networking events, as well as visits to professional and cultural sites across New York City.
Early Bird discounts for applications should be submitted by March 1, 2016. Group discounts for six or more participants.
When: Three weeks, from Sunday, July 10 through Friday, July 29, 2016.
Where: Columbia University, New York City.
Who: Foreign-trained law students and practitioners.
Cost: $7,000 for tuition and housing (discounts are available for early applications and groups).
