Dear Scholars and Research Fellows,
On behalf of Columbia Law School, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the Law School.
The Visiting Scholar program has been an essential and enriching element at Columbia Law School for decades. The Law School has had the honor of hosting high-level governmental figures, prominent professors and renowned legal experts. Each academic year, the Law School has in residence approximately 70 scholars from Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, and points in between. Their areas of research cover a diverse and wide spectrum of legal issues.
This website provides comprehensive information to prepare you for your stay at Columbia. Please pay particular attention to the sections on Visas and the Visiting Scholar Designation (mandatory for all Visiting Scholars and Research Fellow).
Given the large number of visitors, it is important that you notify us of your arrival date so that we may schedule group orientation sessions for incoming scholars. Please email or call in advance (Jason Nasrallah by phone at (212) 854-0395 or email at jnasra@law.columbia.edu) to make an appointment.
We look forward to personally welcoming you to Columbia!
Warm regards,
Jason Nasrallah
