LawNet is the name given to a set of web-based services that provide access to the administrative databases of the Law School.
The system allows Law School students to register for class, add/drop classes, and change local address listings. LawNet also allows faculty members to access their class/wait lists, submit grades, view seating charts, and much more.
Students, faculty, and staff may also use LawNet to register laptops, phones, or other mobile devices to access the Internet via the Law School’s wired or wireless networks. Select “Register Ethernet Card” under Services.
Visit http://www.law.columbia.edu/lawnet and the LawNet login prompt appears.
Type your LawNet ID (the ID you use to login the law school network) and your password, then click on the Login button. (NOTE: If prompted, do not aprove your browser to remember your user name and password when logging into this site! Otherwise, anyone else who has access to your computer will be able to change grades, and will have access to other sensitive data).
