Yasuhide Watanabe is a resident partner of Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu NY as well as a partner of Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu in Tokyo. He represents and advises clients on a variety of international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licenses, and corporate restructuring, as well as dispute resolution. He is admitted in Japan and to the state bars in New York and California.
Watanabe was a visiting guest lecturer at Columbia Law School in 2008 and 2011. He is a regular guest speaker and lecturer, as well as the author of a number of legal articles, including “U.S. Antitrust Law”, The University of Tokyo Press, 2012.
He earned his LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School and the University of Tokyo, where he earned a LL.B.
