Carine Williams is an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell. Previously, Williams was a litigation lawyer at Squire Sanders, where her practice focused on complex federal appeals, death penalty, and habeas corpus litigation, and Section 1983 prison conditions litigation.

Prior to joining Squire Sanders, Williams served as a law clerk to the Honorable Deborah A. Batts of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

She is a 2006 graduate of Yale Law School, where she was the recipient of Yale Law School’s C. LaRue Munson Prize for excellence in the investigation, preparation, and presentation of civil, criminal, or administrative law cases under a law school clinical program. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 2000.
