Director of Judicial Programming and Academic Counseling

Anne E. Green is the director of academic counseling and judicial programming at Columbia Law School.

In that role, she advises students regarding judicial clerkships, leads the judicial outreach and programming effort, oversees the law journals, and provides academic counseling as a member of the Office of Student Services.

Prior to joining Columbia Law School, Green was a litigator at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan as well as Ropes and Gray from 2006 to 2012. Her practice included a variety of litigation matters in the areas of complex commercial litigation, employment law, securities law, and government enforcement. She received recognition for pro bono work in the areas of asylum and art law.    

From 2005 to 2006, she clerked for Judge Mary A. McLaughlin of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Green received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2005, where she served as an editor of the Law Review and her B.S. from Cornell University in 2002.
