Clinic Technology

Educational Technology is working closely with the clinical faculty to implement a new case management system.  Projects are underway to include information from cases in prior years as well as for current matters.

Lexis Casemap

Confidentiality

An updated set of materials for all students in the Law School clinics concerning client confidentiality and other ethical issues is currently under development.  This project is based on the presentations given by Professor Mary Zulack  to all clinic students in previous years. Zulack has collected an extensive amount of information relating to ethical standards applicable to clinical programs, and especially those standards that are applicable in light of the expanding use of digital technologies in law practice.  Much of this work has been derived from the curriculum of the Lawyering in the Digital Age Clinic.  This project is undertaken in light of the ABA Commission on Ethics 20/20  and their draft proposal concerning lawyer's obligations when using technology, issued May 2, 2011.
