This seminar will provide students with the substantive law background necessary for the drafting of wills and trusts and students will then have an opportunity to draft 1) dispositive provisions of wills, including bequests, marital deduction provisions, exemption trusts, and trusts for the benefit of minors and beneficiaries with special needs; and 2) administrative provisions of wills, including tax allocation clauses. There will also be exercises involving the drafting of inter vivos trust provisions, such as revocable living trusts, life insurance trusts, charitable trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts and qualified personal residence trusts.
