Open only to third-year students who have completed Evidence (L6241). This seminar does not fulfill the legal writing requirement. Actual and simulated trial problems designed to promote knowledge of the litigation process and to afford individual experience in selected phases of pretrial and on-trial practice. This seminar addresses both civil and criminal litigation. Many classes last from two to three hours. In spring, some classes will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition, most instructors schedule two or three full-scale trials toward the end of the term.
