Columbia Law School students have had the option of spending a semester at either Peking University (Beida) in Beijing or Fudan University in Shanghai, two of China’s leading universities. The exchanges reflect Columbia’s continued commitment to educating American students about China and Chinese students about American law.
Some students at Columbia have also opted to spend a semester at the National University of Singapore. You may also independently find a study-abroad opportunity with another institution. Professor Ben Liebman, the Center for Chinese Legal Studies director, discusses his own exchange experience.
