
Columbia Law School Academic Fellows will have the opportunity to spend one to two years in residence at Columbia Law School, where they will pursue their scholarly agendas and participate in the Law School’s intellectual life.
Columbia Law School is seeking candidates for its Academic Fellows program, created to support future legal academics. Candidates must have the strongest academic credentials and show substantial promise of becoming outstanding legal scholars.
Academic Fellows are expected to produce a serious work of scholarship that will position them to enter the job market for a full-time academic appointment at a major law school.
It is anticipated that Columbia Law School Academic Fellows will receive a stipend of around $60,000 as well as fringe benefits, including space to work at the Law School and eligibility for subsidized housing. Typically, between one and three fellows are selected each year.
