Professors Merritt B. Fox and Lawrence R. Glosten are drafting what they hope will be the seminal treatise on capital markets regulation. The aim is for the treatise to be used as part of the teaching materials for similar courses at other universities and to serve as a standard reference book for regulators, legal practitioners, market participants, and scholars. As the first such book, it would play an important role in defining the field.
In working toward this end, the program's post-doctoral researcher assistants and its Research Scholar have put together several memoranda, white papers, outlines, and annotated bibliographies. While the research products are proprietary, below the program shares three annotated bibliographies drafted by research assistants during the summer of 2010 that survey revelant statutes, legislative history, rules, Securities and Exchange Commission releases, court cases and Commission proceedings, and scholarly as well as practitioner-oriented articles, treatises, and commentary.
