Inaugural Conference
Then-Chairman Cox
Marking its launch, the program hosted an inaugural conference in December 2007 that focused on cross-border securities market mergers. Christopher Cox, then-chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, delivered the keynote address. In addition to Chairman Cox, the program welcomed several notable moderators, panelists, and guests, including former Commission leaders, top-level exchange executives, legal scholars and practitioners, and financial economists.
