
Law School transcripts are maintained by the Columbia University Office of the Registrar. There is no fee for this service.

The Office of the Registrar will order a replacement diploma if the original has been damaged or lost or if there has been a change of name. Please note that replacement diplomas will display the signatures of the current Columbia University President and Law School Dean but will show the original date of the award.
Those seeking verification of a Columbia Law School degree can request an academic certification, an official document provided by the Columbia University Office of the Registrar to certify a graduate's enrollment and degree.
Alternatively, such requests may be made via the National Student Clearinghouse website or by calling 703-742-4200.

The application for the New York State Bar exam can be accessed at The New York State Board of Law Examiners.
The "Certificate of Attendance" and other forms can be downloaded by clicking on The Bar Examination section of that site. To request the completion of the Certificate, please contact the Law School Registrar's Office at registrar@law.columbia.edu or 212-854-2668. Inquiries regarding the bar exams of other states may also be directed to the Law School Registrar's Office.
