Communicating with the
Office of Graduate Legal Studies
We look forward to receiving your application and learning more about you. As we move through the application process, due to the large volume of applications we receive, it is not possible for the Graduate Legal Studies staff to report on the progress of applications. We will send each applicant, by email, the following information regarding her or his application:
- An automatic confirmation that we have received your online application once you click “Submit Application”;
- A link to our online Application Status online page, where you can check whether we have received your application components (three to five business days after submitting your application); and
- Notification that your application is complete.
We aim to send the completion notification email to all J.S.D. applicants by late February. Regrettably, we cannot provide information regarding the receipt of specific documents as such requests slow the processing time of applications.
